Service Policy

We reserve the right to bump your appointment to accommodate travelers who are broken down. This is a last resort policy and we will do whatever we can to meet everyone's needs; unfortunately, these situations do occur, and as a bike owner you should appreciate this traveler policy.

Scheduled Appointments

We will schedule an appointment for you at the earliest opening with enough time to perform the work you need.

If you are late for your appointment that may forfeit the appointment and it will need to be rescheduled. Please call if you will be late.

All scheduled appointments will be complete by the close of that business day unless otherwise notified by the service department.

*NOTE* If this does happen to you and we are unable to finish your bike by the close of that work day, we will get your bike on the bench first thing the following morning! We understand the inconvenience and will make every attempt to inform you of the situation; however, it is always in your best interest to contact us before attempting to pick up your bike if you have not been called. Also, please be sure to provide us with all of your contact phone numbers and to ensure that we have recorded them accurately.

Add-on Repairs Or Accessories

It usually takes about a week to prepare a damage estimate. We cannot promise them any quicker because the extent of damage isn't usually known at the time it is scheduled. We work damage estimates into our schedule as time permits.

We will schedule the repair when we are sure all the parts are in our Dealership

We will store your bike while waiting for parts, but if the bike requires painted parts we may have to charge a storage fee for anything over 30/days. We charge $35.00 a week after the first 30 days. You may ask to make arrangements with us or a towing company to have your bike picked up after the estimate and brought back at your appointment date. During our peak season, we may not be able to deliver the bike.

Please understand that these repairs often take months because of back orders from suppliers, painted parts from the factory, and so on. We can offer options at this time.

Pick-up and Delivery

Summer Months (April-September)

During our peak season we will no longer be able to pick up or deliver your motorcycle free of charge. This is due to rising fuel costs and our lean staffing philosophy. We understand the inconvenience this may cause, but as we always do, we will try our best to accommodate you. As a result of this we will now have to charge a $50.00 one-way fee for the pick-up or delivery of any motorcycle outside of 50 miles from the dealership. No charge for bikes within 49 miles of the dealership.

Winter Months (October-March)

The pick-up or delivery fee is waived during the winter months for bikes located within 50 miles of the dealership. MAJOR REBUILDS (Motor, Frames, Transmissions, etc.)

All major work is brought in by appointment only.

Keep in mind our winter specials for engine builds. Although we will perform these jobs during the riding season, we would prefer to build your motor in the off-season months.

*Note* Please be aware that this work could be lengthy because of back orders from suppliers, painted parts from the factory, and so on.

SUMMER MONTHS

During the summer months we will not work on any Harley-Davidson® motorcycle older than 1986, with exception of routine services, such as tire changes, fluid changes, brake pads, etc. We will make the final decision as to whether we will attempt the repair. The reason for this is the age of the motorcycle and the time it can sometimes take for the simplest repairs. The parts may not be readily available from our parts department or Harley-Davidson®. Please be aware that we may have to turn to the after-market community to get parts.

*Note* Please be aware that these repairs often take months because of back orders from suppliers, painted parts from the factory, and so on. It is often the fact that these bikes have been repaired by many people or dealerships, and unforeseen problems are common place. Therefore we charge on a time and material basis for the repairs without exception.

Thank You,
